I maintained a sculpting studio for about 15 years as a playground to fill in between television projects.

It was a way to avoid staring at the phone—waiting for the next chance to be creative.

I love the feel of steel and wood together. Though I no longer sculpt in steel, I do a more delicate

sculpting of zinc plates for the etchings.
